Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026

1. Introduction

AURA Connect (“AURA,” “we,” “our”) provides a customer relationship and productivity platform for sales and insurance professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our services at connectingaura.net, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the services you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, and authentication identifiers provided when you sign up.
  • Mobile phone number: if you choose to link a number for SMS access to your AURA Sage assistant.
  • Connected-account data: emails, calendar events, and contacts that you authorize us to read from third-party providers (Google, Microsoft).
  • Usage data: aggregate logs of feature usage and error reports, used to improve the product.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the service, authenticate you, deliver features you have enabled (such as email sync, calendar sync, and the Sage assistant), and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal information.

4. SMS messaging program

If you opt in to SMS by linking your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from AURA at the number you provide. The program is conversational: you initiate messages, and our AI assistant Sage replies based on the data in your AURA account.

  • Frequency: message frequency varies based on your usage. The service is conversational, not promotional.
  • Costs: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. You may also remove the linked number in your AURA account settings.
  • No warranty of delivery: SMS delivery depends on carriers and may not be guaranteed.

We do not sell, share, or transfer mobile information or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Sharing

We share information only with service providers we use to operate AURA (cloud infrastructure, authentication, AI inference, SMS delivery), each under contractual confidentiality obligations. We disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not share information for the independent marketing purposes of any third party.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account information from within the application. You can disconnect connected accounts (Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, etc.) at any time, which revokes our access. Subject to applicable law, you may have additional rights such as requesting a copy of your data or objecting to certain processing.

8. Children’s privacy

AURA is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, with notice in the application.
